BOOK REVIEW: Tragic Beauty by Iris Ann Hunter

(Beauty & The Darkness Trilogy 1)
Author: Iris Ann Hunter
Released Date: January 23rd, 2018
Source: GR

One beauty. Two beasts.
The one who owns her. And the one who wants her.
***
I was sixteen when I made the deal.
When I put my fate in the hands of Shayne McAllister, a man determined to break me.
A man with black eyes and a blacker heart, who’s been obsessed with me since we were kids.
And now that my father has passed, he’s coming to collect his debt.
But before I become his, I see a chance to make a choice for myself, and I take it.
I slip away, for one night.
One dark, stormy night that goes horribly wrong.
Until a stranger crosses my path.
An angry stranger, with a harsh voice and menacing eyes, who grants me one night.
One messed up, beautiful night, that changes everything, and spares no one.
Because the stranger wants more.
More than just one night.
He wants me.
What follows, is darkness.
A darkness where secrets will be revealed, blood will be shed, and sacrifices made.
My name is Ava, and this is my story.

(This is a very DARK, contemporary romance/erotic thriller with scenes some will find disturbing. It is a story about love and obsession, about hope and despair, but most of all, it is about finding light through the darkness. For mature audiences only.)

REVIEW

Tragic beauty unravel the tale between love, lust and obsession, of how far r u willing to do or sacrifice for the people u loved. It blindingly tells the consuming, tragic and dark twisted version of beauty and the beast. And I can't wait for the next book - Hunted Beauty.

Malice by E.M. Snow

(Angelview Academy 2)

Author: E.M. Snow

Released Date: May 3rd, 2020

Source: Goodreads

At Angelview Academy, secrets, lies, and betrayal always win.

How do I know?
I’m the girl whose future just went up in flames.
The outsider from the wrong side of the tracks.
The mortal who didn’t bow to Angelview’s resident god, Saint Angelle.
He said he’d own me, and he did—every inch, from my mind to my body to my soul.
Saint even promised to break me.
That’s where he screwed up.
Because every god should know you can’t break a girl that’s already broken. A girl who’s been shaped by secrets, lies, and betrayal since the day she was born.
That’s why this time around, the elite won’t win.
I will.

*MALICE is a full-length, 85,000 word new adult/ mature high school romance with enemies-to-lovers and bullying themes. It is book 2 of the Angelview Academy series and is not recommended for readers under 17 as it contains dubious situations and triggers that some readers may find offensive.

Not as good as book one, I hated Mallory's stupid decision-making most 80% in the book, it's so tiring and stressful at all times😓.

Regardless can't wait for book 3!

(Angelview Academy 1)

Author: E.M. Snow

Released Date: March 21st, 2020

At Angelview Academy, Saint Angelle is considered God.
But don't be fooled by his ridiculous name or that pretty face because Saint? He’s as wicked as they come.
I should know.
I'm the new girl who pissed him off.
The nobody who called out his crew of vicious tyrants.
The mortal who wouldn't bow then and sure as hell won’t now.
Saint swears I'll regret it.
He vows to own every inch of me.
He even promises to make my senior year a living hell.
I don't believe him, though.
Because if angels can fall, so can so-called gods.
And I want to be the one to bring Saint Angelle to his knees.

SAINT is a full-length, 80,000 word new adult/ mature high school romance with enemies-to-lovers and bullying themes. It is not recommended for readers under 17 as it contains dubious situations and triggers that some readers may find offensive. It is NOT a standalone and ends in a cliffhanger.

BOOK REVIEW: Fallen Heirs by Laura Lee

Fallen Heirs (Windsor Academy 3)

by: Laura Lee

Released Date: October 15th, 2020

•FALLEN HEIRS is the third book in the Windsor Academy series. This is the conclusion to Jazz and Kingston’s story and cannot be read as a standalone. It is a dark high school bully romance that may contain triggers for sensitive readers. Due to mature content, it is recommended for readers 17+.

Oh, what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive...

Pretty, pretentious little liars.

I’m surrounded by them everywhere I turn.

But I’m learning not everything is as it seems.

The ones who I thought were my enemies have become my greatest allies. And the ones who I severely underestimated turned out to be much eviler than I could’ve ever imagined.

They say money can’t buy happiness. Well...I’m here to tell you, it can certainly broker a deal with a devil.

And the funny thing about dealing with devils? They alwayscome to collect. Too bad for them, I’m going to put up one helluva fight.

I’m stronger.

I’m ready.

And I’m going to love watching them fall.

REVIEW

One of the best Dark High School Bully Romance Trilogy that I have read this year!

This is one of my anticipated release for this year, and I can honestly say that I am not disappointed at all. It truly correspond my exuberant in reading this. Jazz and Kingston relationship is the epitome of a couple goals. Yes there are some hiccups and conflict that run it courses, yet it was handled fittingly, with the right balance of action, steam story arc and cheesy lines dialogue blending towards plot device. The storyline remains consistent and cohesive. Once again amazing writing style, unputdownable and a very satisfying ending for Jasmine and Kingston romance.
